Collecting and handling personal data
When you sign up for Koda’s newsletters and similar communications, you consent to letting Koda collect and process the following information about you:
- The email address and name stated by you.
- Your membership number, if you are a Koda member.
- Information on the news received by you, including statistics concerning your use of the newsletter.
The information collected is used to help Koda further develop and improve our newsletters, helping to ensure that we bring you relevant information in the newsletters to which you subscribe.
Koda never passes on your information to third parties – except to our data processor, with whom we have a data processing agreement.
Koda acts as data controller, meaning that we hold responsibility for handling your personal information.
You have the right to request insight into, rectification or deletion of data about you, the right to restrict or object to the processing of such data and the right to receive extracts of your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
You can lodge a complaint about Koda's processing of your data to Datatilsynet.
Koda stores information about the news you receive, including statistics on usage of the newsletter, for five calendar years from the release of each individual newsletter. From that point on the information is saved only in an anonymous format.
Your right to withdraw consent
You can choose to withdraw this consent at any time. You do so by clicking the ‘Afmeld nyhedsbrev’/’Unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of any newsletters received from Koda. You can also withdraw your consent by contacting Koda using the contact details provided below.
