Nicky Valbjørn Trebbien will assume the position of Director of Legal at Koda on August 12. He comes from a position as head of department at the Ministry of Culture, where he was responsible for the Copyright & Legal Affairs office. Through his 13 years in the Ministry of Culture and 5 years in the legal profession, Nicky Valbjørn Trebbien has gained in-depth knowledge of copyright and the many challenges in the area.
Nicky Valbjørn Trebbien has represented Denmark in the EU in several cases. He has negotiated and subsequently implemented a wide range of copyright directives in Danish law. He is well-known in national and international copyright circles and a sought-after speaker.
Koda's CEO, Gorm Arildsen, is pleased with the appointment and looks forward to having Nicky Valbjørn Trebbien on the team:
