Gorm Arildsen is new CEO of Koda

Koda has a new CEO

After nine years as CEO of Koda, Anders Lassen stepped down from his post by the end of June. His chair has been taken over by the former Deputy CEO, Gorm Arildsen, who is looking forward to his new role, spearheading an organisation which will, he says, need to both consolidate itself and evolve in an era of digital change.

"Anders Lassen has spearheaded a very important transformation of Koda and achieved great results. Now, the time has come for a change," says Niels Rønsholdt, chairman of Koda’s Board of Directors.

He explains the choice of Gorm Arildsen as new CEO in these terms:

"We have chosen to pass the baton on to Gorm, who has, as part of his managerial partnership with Anders, demonstrated a great ability to foster visionary ideas, follow through on those ideas and bring the entire organisation on board with the joint project."

Gorm Arildsen looks forward to the challenge

Gorm Arildsen, who has been with Koda since 2012, looks forward to the task ahead:

"We must consolidate the developments and the many exciting initiatives already launched in Koda, and we must continue to evolve. The challenges that lie ahead in these times of digital innovation and upheaval require both of these things. I feel convinced that Koda is in the best possible shape for the tasks ahead and look forward to the next stage," he says.

Anders Lassen wishes Koda all the best

Anders Lassen stepped down at the end of June. He and Koda’s Board of Directors mutually agreed that a quick transition would be preferable, partly because they feel that the organisation is best served by a clean-cut changeover, and partly because the decision to let Gorm Arildsen take over eliminates the need for an extensive handover process.

Anders Lassen looks back on nine exciting years:

"I’ve been incredibly happy with my time at Koda," he exclaims, going to say that:

"We’ve been on a wild journey of growth and evolution together, and I look back on what we have achieved and pass on the baton with great pride. I wish Koda all the best in the future."
