For some members it may be relevant to have works registered under a stage name; usually because the stage name is the name by which the member is known by the general public. The stage name is not intended to hide who wrote the work, but simply to give listeners a better chance of recognising the artist. We only register stage names for works that are registered to us under that stage name.
Secret pseudonyms
In some cases members may wish to entirely conceal the fact that he/she is the author of a given musical work. In such cases members may ask Koda to set up a secret pseudonym; i.e. a pseudonym where the true name and identity of the author will be kept secret. We will only register a secret pseudonym on works where the work registration is submitted to Koda under that secret pseudonym.
