TV and Radio
The March distribution covers music use in all TV and Radio areas where distributions are made monthly. The distribution sees the first distributions for music use in 2023 for all TV2 and DR TV and radio channels. This includes performances in January 2023 that have already been reported by the broadcasters and fully processed by Koda. The distribution for these channels also includes a substantial portion pertaining to late 2022.
Also included are annual distributions covering 2022 for the TV channel TV2 Sport X and the radio channel 24syv. The March distribution furthermore includes a quarterly distribution for Q4 2022 for the TV2 regions.
Online
As regards VOD, the March distribution includes quarterly distributions for Netflix Q2 2022 and for the second half of 2022 on the SVOD (Subscription Video On Demand) services Viaplay, HBO Max and Disney+. In addition, the distribution covers digital film rental in the second half of 2022 on YouSee/Blockbuster and Viaplay Filmleje.
The March distribution includes quarterly distributions for the streaming services Spotify and YouTube, both as regards licensing in Denmark and direct licensing abroad. For specific periods, see the distribution schedule.
Furthermore, the March distribution includes distributions for SoundCloud covering the period April 2020 up to and including March 2022; these have been delayed due to challenges regarding the reporting format. Also included is a monthly distribution covering January 2023 on Nuuday Musik (including YouSee Musik and Telmore Musik).
Concert
As regards concerts, the March distribution covers all concerts where the music reporting has been processed and completed and where Koda has received all necessary information from the concert promoter (for example about ticket revenues per concert). The March distribution includes concerts given in 2022 and before. Distributions for concerts given in 2023 will commence at the next distribution in April.
Furthermore, this distribution includes the annual distribution for concerts given by the Danish regional orchestras in 2022.
