You are about to activate the audio file upload function on My Koda
By uploading audio files of your work Koda can ensure payment of royalties for performances of your work in advertisements faster in a few simple steps.
In order to match your work with music from a TV advertisement the audio files that you upload will be shared with the music monitoring services Koda collaborates with. If the advertisement is used in other countries the audio file will help us secure royalties for those viewings.
In addition to the audio file, Koda will share the work no., ISWC no. and IPI no. of the work's right owners with our collaborators. It is important that you have secured consent for this from right owners who either participated or have contributed to the work (artists, producers, authors/composers other than the sender).
Initially, the audio file will be used for monitoring TV advertisements, but Koda will also monitor the rest of the broadcasting on TV as well as radio, online services and other platforms where Koda can use monitoring to identify the music that has been used. When uploading audio files, you confirm that Koda can use the audio files for this type of monitoring.
I agree that Koda may store my audio files and share them with external collaborators, who may share them with their data processors.
