November distribution 2022
Koda’s November 2022 distribution takes place on Thursday 10 November. For a full overview of the areas and performance periods included, see the Koda distribution schedule.
TV
The November distribution covers all TV and Radio areas where distributions are made monthly. While it primarily concerns performances in August 2022, you will find that in several areas performances from September have also already been reported, processed and are ready for distribution. The November distribution also includes distributions for the TV2 regions, covering Q3 2022.
Online
The November distribution includes monthly distributions for the music streaming service Nuuday Musik (including YouSee Musik and Telmore Musik). The distribution covers consumption in September 2022. In addition, the distribution covers TV2 Play On Demand for Q3 2022 and TV Play Flow for the first half of 2022. The latter concerns music use on TV2’s flow channels viewed via the TV2 Play platform and is based on previously processed music reporting from TV2’s flow channels for the period.
Concert and Background
As regards concerts, the November distribution covers all concerts where the music reporting has been processed and completed and where Koda has received all necessary information from the concert promoter (for example about ticket revenues per concert). On this occasion, it includes distributions for concerts at this year’s Smukfest festival held in August 2022.
As regards Background music, this November distribution includes a small supplementary payment concerning last year’s distributions for those Background areas where Koda receives music reporting from professional providers of music for commercial use.
Abroad
This time, the distribution of revenues from Abroad is substantial, covering several of the territories/countries from which Koda typically receives the largest sums. The distributions are listed below, stating some of the main areas and periods covered.
- Norge (TONO): TV, Radio – Q1 2022, Concert 2021, streaming and VOD services – various periods.
- Finland (TEOSTO): TV, Radio and Concert – Q1 2022, Online – primarily 2021
- USA (ASCAP): TV, Radio and Online – up to and including Q4 2021.
- Italy (SIAE): Various areas – up to and including Q2 2021
- Sweden (STIM): Concert – 2021, VOD services – up to and including Q1 2022
